Access Directv has the CMT Music Awards on June 16 being broadcast in HD. Maybe CMT will start some real HD broadcast?

This was HD last year as well....also other award shows & 1 or 2 series they show are in HD.

The magazine also list Travel Channel being in HD on page 17. Am I reading this wrong?

Yep...its been wrong before....it had the same thing last year about that channel.
