AMC6 problems

I am getting 59-63% quality on AMC6 yet the signal and sound break up. Other TP's, 45 or more percent is sufficient for perfect picture and sound, yet on AMC6's 4 channels I want to watch, even a high quality signal is unwatchable. What gives?

It did that with me, one day last week. But then they were fine a little later? At the time, those 2 Religious channels (one of which is a Shopping channel during daylight hours) were fine. It must be originating at the Uplink, where ever that is?

The religious / shopping channel will come through no matter what. My receiver has a long delay before anything shows up, then it comes booming in. Weird. But the cluster of 4 are very tempermental and require high signal quality. Hope its an uplink problem they take care of, because 59-63 is at the extreme high end of quality for my receiver. Usually has to go as low as 42 before it breaks up.

The C Band stations changed FR and SRs. See my WUT post for more information. I am getting them, NASA and PCN with no problems. I don't mess with the Ku side.

Having same prob on the same "cluster" . Been like that for me for weeks now.

Haven't checked yet (as I've been on vacation for the last week and change), but I also was experiencing for a couple weeks, too, lower signal quality on the AMC 6 channels.

Thanks for the feedback. I can spend a lot of wasted time up on the roof making adjustments to no avail, and the problem lies elsewhere.
