Did I misunderstand or did Directv reach an agreement where they were going to carry the Braves games being broadcast by PCH 17 in Atlanta and offer them nationwide. It shows 617 BRVS but I get a 721 message...channel not purchased!!!

You misunderstood. 617 is only for the Braves claimed regional area. GA, AL, MS, TN, SC and western NC.

Do you have MLBEI? If so, that would explain you getting that channel that far our of market. If you don't have MLBEI, then the OP should be getting the signal in WA.
