I have just received notice that Intelsat 3R is about to be put into an inclined orbit, and no spare is scheduled for the 43W slot. The Italian MUX that used to broadcast Dr. Dish will be leaving. Challenger Teleport, who is the uplinker of this MUX, has not as of yet found a substitute satellite. I will update this post as information becomes available.
I found the EagleStarPro web site.
They list 33" and 39" dishes, but I cannot seem to get details on them.
If you see the focal length on your dish (which part number?) , please post it.
According to one of our members that (43.0w) satellite is being put into a inclined orbit so your experiment might be shortlived.
I just read at the Intelsat web site that Intelsat 1R @ 45.0 west will be replaced in the second quarter of 09 , maybe we will see more changes for the better.
Yes, and so are we.... am all about testing and experimenting,...
Yes, and so are we.
Didn't mean so much to discourage you as to help understand the problem.
Here's to your dish's web site.
I didn't find a 36" model, nor any tech facts about any of them.
But, I also have some self-imposed restrictions on what I can see from this particular computer.
If you locate the focal length of the dish you have, let me know.
