Yes, when I do the check switch, it shows the Node: Not Connected, Switch: None, and Reception ERROR. It says something isn't installed correctly and there is no satellite signal.

I went to the scheduled update time in the Menu Preferences and changed the time to update now (such as 3:30 PM). I then watched it go through the update process. When it rebooted this time, everything was back to normal. I then changed the update time back to 3:00 AM. Maybe try that.

Did you ever find out what the problem was? I am encountering the same stutter. It usually lasts about 1 sec. I'm also experiencing the dish losing the signal and the updating even though I have the updates scheduled nightly. I never have any trouble w/ the 311 HD receiver. Any thoughts?
