Other than not being able to transfer to external devices or folders, they behave the same as normal recordings and don't delete until you say so or you run out of space.

It looks like two channels have been removed from DISH’s BonusView: 094-05 Real Stories 096-13 Real Life I don’t know when they were removed, though.

Both Echostar 14 & 15 were launched in 2010, each with a 15 year lifespan. Echostar 15 is only four months younger, but significantly lighter (5,521kg vs 6,384 kg). How else is it different? More bandwidth?
