If I turned my TV on once per day at a specific time that would do but I don't . It would be more trouble than its worth.

I fixed it canceled Starz :D OK not really but I feel like it. Guess I'll have to live with it till the new UI is available . Not really looking forward to that either though.

Thanks but I believe that's only avail with the Carbon UI. I don't see any settings like that on my Hopper with Sling.

Hi, I'm wondering if any one else has a problem with their HWS tuning to a Starz channel every time they turn it on. It's really starting to to tick me off. No matter what station I'm watching when I turn it off, its back on Starz when I turn it on. Dan

I didn't have any trouble deleting any of them. One of them I just deleted the timer when I noticed it, though usually it gets added back this time it didn't.

That would have no bearing the number of files since dish divides the drive into 500MB partitions. I don't know if the full 3 or 4TB capacity would be used, dish for what ever reason may arbitrarily limit the size. Dan

The price for existing subscribers has not increased for Netflix and won't for 2yrs from the date of the increase so I'd say it's unlikely anyone unsubscribed over that. Even at the new price Netflix is still a bargain imo. Dan

I haven't had it lock up but it rebuffers and stops at 25% and I have to back out and start again. I've pretty much gone back to using my roku, much less hassle. Dan

Yeah that is one of the better updates. Also being able to start the next episode of a series without going back to the top, now if they'd just add that to the EHD viewing and additional Hopper viewing it would be great. Dan

I don't use OTA and I doubt most Dish users do. It's good that they fixed it, but pretty low on the list to me. Dan

I wouldn't say a big improvement. There hasbeen a small improvement but over half of the recordings on my EHD is still missing the correct tiles. Other than the new features I don't see where they've fixed much of anything. Dan.

My Hopper w/Sling was updated last nite around 1:30AM from S512 to S514. Haven't noticed anything different. The only things I noticed in 512 were the record icon showing in the info banner even when no recording is going on and after viewing a recording on our other Hopper it took pressing...

Considering the Hopper with Sling itself has gotten pretty sluggish with the updates perhaps it's the cause and not Joey's.

Right I'm going to tell my wife to stop recording stuff she's had no problems recording before the integration but now it has to steal tuners from my hopper.

I was just annoyed with various things with the hopper but now I'm really ticked. I couldn't record a program because of the stupid tuner integration. I knew when it was mentioned as coming they'd shove down our throats whether we wanted it or not no regard for those of us who liked the fact...

Then why waste the resources adding the feature? There must be a significant number of 2+ Hopper households. :)
