How do I activate a purchased Motorola Dual-Tuner DVR HD DCT6412?

Purchased a Comcast DVR box off of eBay to replace my rented box. Tried to contact Comcast and activate it. Comcast said they will only support new boxes. Is there a way to obtain a security card that will allow the box to work? Thanks.
