I thought at one time I saw a list somewhere on this site that listed which DirecTv satellites (maybe even transponders) carried which channels. I can't seem to find it now and wanted verify if I was crazy or not... Thanks!

No SBC bought AT&t, took over the AT&T name, then bought BellSouth. I have both AT&T and DirecTV and can't wait for the $5 (or whatever it will be) discount.

I did notice one of the PPVs I had saved on my HR20 only gives a "searching for authorized content" message.

I'm still receiving UHD and HDNMovies. It looks like they took away the new MPEG-4 channels in the HD Extra pac (that I'm not waisting $5 on) but left the old MPEG-2 channels I received prior to the big HD launch. I do not have, nor have I ever had any MPEG-2 hardware, only my trusty HR20-700...

Jimbo and grizbear The TV the OP has IS a DLP, but it is the next gen DLP that uses LED lighting to eliminate the use of the color wheel. These have been on the market for a few months now and are superior to the older DLP sets.

You've obviously never heard of Howard Stern.

The important part of the phrases "up to 75 markets" and "up to 100 national channels" is the "up to" part. They could be done right now and get away with it.

...get some more hardware upgrades out of them (HR20 & H20). She's still mad the installers drilled a hole in her new hardwood floors when the system was installed and no one at D* responded to the letter she wrote stating her displeasure. This whole no upgrade thing pretty much pushed over the top.

I've experianced audio stutter with my HR20-700, but have found if I hit pause, then play immediately after hitting pause it clears any stutter.

The real question is: Now that D* offers a VOD service, will we be able to get Howard TV?
