Hi all, for some reason I'm having an extremely weird problem. I just recently got a new 32" LG TV....for some reason when the TV is on, the remote does not respond to any commands directed to the receiver...when the TV is off, the remote works fine (light blinks when buttons are pressed)...

I figured I'd just throw the second ? in there....thanks for the reply! What should I do about the first issue?

Ah, ok. Thanks for clearing that up for me Iceberg :) I'll mention this to the DTV rep when they become available. So I'm assuming I'll get all of those free with no upgrade cost(or contract extension). Hopefully.

Well I thought it said you needed the HD Access.....so I'm not sure at all I called DTV and they were no help either. I went to a retail store and they were telling me it was a contract extension plus the 10 dollar fee.... Don't really know who to listen to haha

I'm in the Gulfport-Biloxi market..... So that means I have to extend my contract for 2 years + the 10 dollar HD access fee per month?

How did you find out the release date for your locals? Also, I currently just have the Standard receivers and my locals are only available in HD....Do I need to upgrade my equipment, and does that mean a contract extension?

Sounds like a big headache, I'm in the Gulfport-Biloxi DMA and was told we are only getting ABC and Fox...What about CBS and NBC? Gotta pay extra for those? Sounds like it's not even worth it for just 2 channels...

Odd, it picks up the analog channel with snow but it won't work with the digital channel.
