Last night during 911 Lonestar the picture froze and pixellated 42 times(yes 42 times), we have a clear line of sight, weather was clear, signal level on the locals around 50, other channels in the 60's and 70's.
Our picture quality is poor and I think sometimes getting worse. Channels freezing a lot of the time and some channels it'd like watching the old Japnese movies where you hear them speak and then about three seconds later their lips move.
No, we live 0ver 100 miles from any city to get OTA, so there is that, and besides the networks are basically sports channels on the weekend, and most cable channels are pwned by the same groups they just show anything new on different channels.
They have dropped Cozi, METV, plus others over the years, and as for the crappy streaming channels they repeat the same thing over and over. It's not ant programs you want to watch.
We were with them at one time for over fourteen years, left for just streaming but came back and started our fourth year. But, if they keep dropping channels and keep adding more of the crappy streaming channel like they have now I'm going to drop them again.
Anyone else seeing a lot of pixilating and the stopping for at least twenty to thirty seconds at a time? Seems like this happens a lot lately and it's on live tv, no certain channels, just curious if it is just me or any others having the same problem.
I have a Hopper duo in the living room and a Joey 3 in the bedroom. The Joey has almost always froze up and shows only the channel banner and a black screen. I have to reset the joey each time. Does this at least once a day usually. For the last week or so the Duo in the living room has started...
Pisses me off too. You can press the re-call button and then press again and you will see the ads that are actually being shown. Those PSA's get on your nerves.
I have the same problem with a wired Joey/ It does the same thing you describe but it can be any channel not one in particuler. A Dish tech came out changed the coax connecter and said that should fix it. It still does it three or four times a week, but when you call Dish they won't listen when...
I have a Hopper Duo with a wired Joey in a bedroom. At least once or twice a week when you are watching tv the screen goes black and I have to re-start the Joey each time. Any ideas or suggestions as what I can do to fix this problem would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the tip about calling the loyalty/retention dept. about the refer a friend problem. I called yesterday afternoon and spoke with a rep that actually knew what he was talking about. He had the code submitted and showed up on our account in less than twelve hours. I had been trying to...
