I am looking at the VS 2000 Extreme and the Coolsat 5000 Platinum. Both I believe have component outs. Anyone have an idea which is a better receiver to get? Thanks.

DirecTV CricketTicket is still the best option for the most cricket matches by all international teams. DISH network only will carry all Pakistan HOME matches since that is all they have right for. They have also recently signed a deal to bring England domestic cricket sometime in the future.

I had no idea that canada got it for FREE. That is rediculous that I dish out hundreds each year just to keep up with cricket and now this exclusive nonsense between Dish and Direct will make me pay even more to get it from both of them since they may both require minimum subscriptions.

got this set-up. Very easy to install, aim and get going. Waste of time though since the cricket I was told would be on 95 is actually on 101. damn DTV, always trying to get your money.

When doing auto-detect, I cannot get my R-10 to move from 84% on the "Satellite Info" screen. It states, "Please wait while the Recorder acquires information from the satellite. This will take several minutes." It has been on 84% for about an hour now. How long should the wait be? Any ideas...

Got it working on my D-10s. Now will try it on the Directv Tivo.

I am in the middle of the setup now. What should I choose when the receiver ask me which type of setup I have (round dish with 1 or 2 lnb, oval dish with 2 lnb, oval dish with 3 lnb etc.) I have the international dish. Which one do I choose?

From what I have seen, they have a slicker interface than the D10. At least my father's D10-300 was recently updated and it looks slicker that my D10.
