what channels are included in Smart Pak

Smart Pack, the subject of this thread. Thanks. I figured as much, since it includes locals already and there's no technical reason I wouldn't continue to receive those channels. That said, Dish does odd things like that (not passing along digital subchannel data they already have comes to...

what channels are included in Smart Pak

Do you retain DVR functionality for the ATSC channels (for receivers with built in tuner) when going to this package?

    DISH Price Increase 1/17/2013 (UPDATED!)

Given the 2 year price freeze we enjoyed, I knew the hammer would fall sooner or later. I'm just surprised there was no notice on online billing (though presumably they've put a blurb in the actual statement). That said, I've held on for as long as I can. First absolute dissolved, then the...

OTA EPG Info Incorrect or Displaying 'Digital Service'

This lack of OTA guide data except for the major networks has irritated me to no end for years. Worse is that there was a period some time back where this complete guide data showed up and stayed for several weeks. It was great while it lasted, but went back to "digital service" and we've...

    Dish packages

The difference is even more noticable for Dish America Gold subscribers. AT200 is the same price and has quite a few extra channels. Other than losing a few channels (Tennis, HMC, NBC/Uni Sports, Destination America) you gain quite a bit going to AT200. And that doesn't count the Dish...

HDNET to become AXS TV; will be available in AT 120 and up

Already stated his program is safe, but may begin featuring more live segments. Not certain about World Report, though.

    HD Channels in Dish Family?

Indeed. Their website is regularly wrong. Frustratingly wrong. But at least it looks nicer...

Dish America now missing Cooking Channel.

While this is true, it hardly excuses the fact that Dish is (deceivingly) advertising programming to customers that they WILL NOT RECEIVE should they subscribe. Furthermore, it is an error that has been painfully pointed out to Dish in the past, and corrected after much effort, only for them to...

Dish America now missing Cooking Channel.

Dish advertised Cooking since it was added over a year ago. Several folks, including me, brought it up in February of this year. First Dish spent days troubleshooting as if it was a problem with our programming authorization. Then they realized that it was in fact the programming package that...

MSNBC and Cooking in Dish America Gold?

It's been MONTHS of this error, or rather, false advertising. And, still, another week? Whatever goodwill Dish Network had left with me has been spent on this fiasco...

MSNBC and Cooking in Dish America Gold?

Well, both the DAG and DAGOLD links on Dish's website are now displaying. Both include Cooking HD. Interesting. Waiting patiently here for Dish to make it right and add the channel.

MSNBC and Cooking in Dish America Gold?

Agreed - Dish does not determine what they display on their sites. However, they do get their channel lists from Dish. That should be an indication of how long Dish has advertised Cooking HD as an included channel for so many resellers to also have that information.

MSNBC and Cooking in Dish America Gold?

Not sure why my first link shows an empty list - maybe mine isn't loading (all other pages work fine though - or maybe yours is cached). Either way, it appears the website is being updated.

MSNBC and Cooking in Dish America Gold?

You sure? DISH America Gold From DISH Network appears to be a new page, but the channel list is empty, currently. America's Top 200 Package - Over 200 Channels From DISH Network was the link that I believe used to be used for DAG, and redirects to AT200. EDIT: Interesting - my links...

MSNBC and Cooking in Dish America Gold?

I agree with you that the ONE missing channel is still a problem. The rest of the channels you listed though - are FREE to anyone subscribing to Dish, regardless of level. They're public interest channels. If you want them fixed, send a private message via the forum here to TonyT or MattG -...
