Tivo I left Dish as well cause of the rising cost and mostly recorded local channels. I got a Tivo HD and so far I like it. Tivo has come a long way since I had in in 2001. I like how you can go to Netflix and pick out movies and there're instantly sent to your Tivo and ready to watch.

I've been wanting to get a FTA system. What can of dish do you need with this system and how much does one cost? Thank you.

I went to my Wal Mart and got mine as well and loved the $ 98.00 price. Later went to CC to see there slection on HD movies and got the Bourne Identity then why we were there CC had a HD DVD display with a little mail offer to receive 5 free HD DVD titles by mail and it was for all Toshiba...

Watching the game from the Charlotte, NC-WCNC through the Dish and so far no problem here.

I have the same system and my HD Net is playing just fine. Better call DirecTV again. What kind of OTA antenna are you using and does it work really good?
