What orbital location was the satellite supposed to be in? It looks like it was going to be a lower power ku-bird by the looks of the lnbs.

Yeah, it would free some bandwidth if they dropped the Dish CDs, but a music station takes like 1/100 the bandwidth of a standard defenition station

I read in antoher post that Directv is going to move some of its channels around to different satellites. Is that true? And are they moving some of them to 119? :confused:

One oy my neighbors wants to move his 522 into another room. The problem is, there is no way to aesthetically run two lines to the receiver. He already has a DPP 44 switch and Separator. What I need to do is install the power inserter, diplexor, and separator onto the same line, but i am not...

My dish is mounted on concrete block wall with tapcons. Also, one of my neighbors has a superdish that will be really exposed to the winds from the southwest. I wonder If he should take his down.

Hi, I am in Sarasota Florida. Do you guys reccomend removing a satellite dish before a hurricane? Its a Directv phase III located on the southwest side of my house, where the storm winds come from. Thanks

Where is Directv 8 headed for? Last I saw on lyngsat it was at 99.5 W Longitude.

I live in Sarasota, FL (Deep southwest Tip), and I can pull in 129 fine. 89-108 signal. I even get the Dish 1000 test channel.
