    Let me tell you about the Polk Cinema Surround Sound System.... How is your Hisense soundbar connected? If you connect it to the tv's hdmi arc port, the dish remote will control the volume through the tv.

    I had a customer with this issue. He had a 1000.2 dish, a ground block, wally. I replaced the lnb - same problem. I ran a line directly from the new lnb to the wally - same problem. Replaced the wally - same problem. Nothing left to replace, so he got an upgrade to a hopper sling. Problem...

    Dish will replace your purchased receiver with the same receiver model and it will remain your property. It's been that way for a decade.

    I've now successfully completed 6 service calls for this exact issue. No one wants to believe it's their expensive router, but it is. Nothing wrong with it, but configurations are necessary.
