Both times I've had my HR20-100 fail it was replaced with a refurbed HR20-100. My second refurb just decided it didn't want to accept remote inputs so its getting called in tomorrow.

This year's party looks to be the best yet.

Anyone else's Discovery HD, channel 9301, not showing up full screen? I get bars on all sides of the image.

I get a good amount of blocking on my HR20-100 connected via HDMI to my Sony 60" XBR2. I get this on pretty much any HD channel, especially noticeable on my HD local channels.

0x168 is the national release for the HR20-700, for now the HR20-100 trails the -700, but with this latest CE D* is trying to get them on equal releases. Hopefully CE testing goes great on 0x168 for the -100 and it gets released as a national release for everyone.

Bad weather in my area prevented me from getting this on my new HR20-100 last night, so I'm hoping tonight the weather gods are with me. What is this trick play? I see a bunch of people mention it.

It would cost them a whole lot more money in customer service calls in Sept. when D10 goes live and people call in asking why they can't wait Cartoon Network HD.

jdspencer, you still have a working DSR6000!?! I had two of them way back in the day and loved them so much, both eventually died and were replaced with Hughes Series 2 units. My HR20 and AU9 are scheduled to be installed on Thursday, I can't wait!

Whats strange is I had HD Platinum for a year, never was late on payment and owned my own receiver. Oh well. Going to try to live off of iTunes and AppleTV for my a while.

I'm trying to reactivate my Dish Network account, but Dish is being crappy about it. I want to get in on the 622 deal for existing custmers but they won't give it to me. Actually the only thing they are offering is for me to buy out a 622 at $560!!! One CSR even told me to activate my service...
