Same here in central illinois. Dish web site slow or no access. Dish customer service......forget that, constant busy signal. Even had problems getting to here.

Yeah, they cut my CBS channel off at midnight this past Friday night at Midnight. Hmmm.....Dish should by all reason (of course in my opinion...unbiased of course) deduct a certain portion of my charges for local and give me the option to get distant channels.

I've had mine buried now for a couple of years, with no ill effects. Matter of fact, there is close to 50 feet of it buried.

Just thought I would do an update on the refurbished 211. Since the installation on the day or arrival, there hasn't been a bit of a problem with it.

I'd wait a few days....the problem isn't going to go away. But you would have more ammo to convince the dish techs to swap out the 211 for you should the problem persist. ...just my 2 cents!

During activation, I ask the tech what would have been fixed. According to him, a number of things. At which point I said, I suspect you mean the HDMI connection! No answer of course.

Received my replacement 211 receive today and I notice that there was a sticker on the back. Wanting to investigate further I find out that the replacement receiver has been refurbished. The refurbished sticker had been placed over the original sticker. So took close-up digital camera shots...

I had to active a replacement 211 moments ago and notice that I have the 268 software now.

Since my HDMI went postal, I'm using composite cables and I can say that there is a big difference in my viewing. I want my HDMI to DVI back.
