Its my understanding that Dish will no longer activate VIP Receivers, 622,222,722,211 etc. Existing accounts with these receivers are still ok.
I think its Wally's & Hopper series receivers that can replace the VIP receivers.
Yesterday there was a message pop up indicating a total failure due to weather on TBS during yankees game, The Weather was clear here in Northern Missouri.

CRT are you referring to the TV's if so I do not see what your describing on the LG
Go to TV Settings>>System>>About>>Control Other Devices(CEC)>>Uncheck e-ARC. Try that as soon as you can with 540-01 and post what happens.
