I just noticed dish has removed Silver, Gold and Dish America as options programing options on their site. Cutting Dish America means the cheapest package with HD cable channels is now 49.99.

Just curious if there is good local programing for Duluth? Only have passed thru a few times heading up the north coast. In some ways that area reminds me of western WA (just not during the winter).

Okay. I guess I will need to have the installer come out. The objective is to get a 722 so if 2 TV's are required to order I can do that. I have the 211 connected to an external hard drive. Will I lose the programing on the drive or will the 722 retain it?

Yes on 1000.2 ... So they should be able to just ship the replacement without an installer and the separator would just split the signal at the box. No need to run a second cable from the box?

If I want to upgrade a 211 to a 722 would there be any additional cabling required beyond just adding a simple splitter if I were just replacing the old box with a new one on a single tv?

Thanks. I currently have a Roku, and use Dish less than half the time and am hesitant about increasing monthly costs. My main reason for considering Google TV would be TV link to NFL game rewind.

Install was yesterday and was a really simple one for the installer as all she had to do was swap out the dish and the connect the jacks into the new box. I am getting 110, 119 and 129. No picture breakup but the numbers are only between 50 and 60. I know dish's numbers look deceptively low but...

Had Dish for 10 years before switching to D in 2007. Just placed the call to E. Always preferred Dish equipment. I ordered a 211 and plan to hook it to an external hard drive. Hope that works as advertised. Feels good to be back. :)

Do the interface and guide look and work the same as on a 612, 622 or 722?
