I got the Lumia 1320, a device by current smartphone standards that is decidedly mid tier.

However I find myself once again impressed by the OS itself. It's just so smooth. The features are on par with the competition and Cortana is honestly better than the offerings from google and apple.

The first install failed. I tried suing the recovery tool and going back to Windows 8.1 and going from there. Now many of my apps are not showing up in the app list---though the store says that they are installed and will not let install them (or uninstall either).

Does anyone know of a method to rebuild the app list or restore from a backup (I know how to do it at reset but was hoping to avoid that)

Or should I just start all over again---or give up on...

Adds some good features.

OS comparison only, WP was already great and smoother than any current os available, but this added missed features and puts it on par with ios and android on that front.

In some ways on that front its superior.
Gonna keep the Lumia icon as my other phone. May well become my main phone with this update.
