Go to MENU > TOOLS > DUMP BY USB Arrow to MISC Files then arrow down to SELECT & DUMP and press OK Press green button to add TP_PROG.dbs Press yellow button to copy the file to your USB drive. Loading/saving with Ali Editor Remove USB drive from receiver.
Plug in to computer USB.
Copy the file to your desktop or a folder for a backup. Then continue
Open the ALI editor program (click PVR800-Editor_dbs.exe)
In Ali Editor FILE > OPEN A box appears. At the bottom select OPEN BIN FILE(*.dbs). Then navigate to your USB drive and find the file you saved from the OpenBox. When loading it will ask you if you want to work with default database or user database. Default database is just the satellite list & TP's that came pre-loaded in the OpenBox, no channels. User database contains the satellite list & TP's along with the channels, satellites and TP's that you have added. Select user database to work with your channels. After working with the data do not save. Go to FILE > EXPORT. Select type as OPEN BIN FILE(*.dbs) and save to your flash drive or other location Return the USB drive to the receiver.
Go to MENU > TOOLS > select UPGRADE BY USB Arrow to MISC Files then arrow down to SELECT & Upgrade and press OK.
Highlight your .dbs file and press the green ADD button.
Then press the yellow UPGRADE button. After flashing your channel data, turn the OpenBox off for 10 seconds using the remote control. When you turn it back on your data file has replaced the data that was in memory. Failure to turn it off then on will result in a messed up channel list until you do so.
